Sharon was the highest first year member with a score of 833 out of 1,000. The highest commercial poultry project score was 833 which Sharon and Rick both achieved. The highest overall poultry project score was obtained by Fred with a score of 877. (Anne Narejko photo) The Old Mill Award was presented to the top sheep club member during Huron County's 4-H Awards Night held at Central Huron Secondary School on November 8. Kim Rantoul (left) of RR2 Lucknow and David Jones of RR2 Clinton tied for the award with 924 out of a possible 1,000 points. Presenting the award was Lila Rintoul, an Old Mill employee and a club leader. David, a member of the Bayfield Dairy Calf Club, was also the winner fo the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Blyth Branch award, for the 4-H dairy calf club member with the highest standing. David had 970 ofa possible 1,000 points.
