people are strong enough to hold it.

Mr. and Mrs. John "Robinson, of Trenton,

the Eastern Star, held their Christmas party

Fashion show is
By Kathy Bromley
Last Wednesday, the Epilepsy Fashion
Show was held at the Benmiller Inn. In the
afternoon, children and ladies' clothes were
modelled, while in the evening men and
ladies' clothes were shown.
No Kidding Children's Wear of Clinton,
supplied the children with their clothes. For
the ladies, outfits were supplied by My Fair
Lady of Clinton, and The Old Mill in the
Country, of Blyth. Campbell's Men's Wear
and The Old Mill supplied the men with their
clothing.
During the intermission, . Christmas ar-
rangements were shown compliments of
Board and Batten, Clinton. There was also
jewellery presentations made by Anstett's
Jewellers Ltd., Clinton, Seaforth, Walker-
ton, Exeter, St. Marys and Goderich.
I am sure I can speak for the other ladies
an experience
and am safe to say that we felt like
"Cinderella" for the day. This is one in-
stance where I question the cliche - "Clothes
don't make a person, the person makes the
clothes." Maybe so, but with the gorgeous
clothing, jewellery and coats supplied,
modelling them mads: me wonder if it
shouldn't be updated to- "Clothes don't
make a person - but it sure helps!"
As all stories comet an end (usually a
happy one at that), so did the fact of facing
reality - housewife and mother again and
back to the old grindstone. From riches to
rags, but it sure was fun while it lasted!
