Six new teen volunteers at hospital
Thanks to the Clinton and community
businesses and professional persons, and
the hard working volunteers of the Hospital
Auxiliary,he 32nd Penny Sale netted ap-
proximatel' $3890.00.
This money is earmarked for the pur-
chase of equipment that will be required for
the new obstetrical wing planned for Clinton
Public Hospital.
Convener Catherine McKnight chaired an
appraisal meeting of the Penny Sale com-
mittee .prior to the October meeting. She
thanked everyone who had contributed
time, money and hard work both the day of
the draw (254 articles) and the two weeks
leading up the Saturday September 27.
Without the enthusiastic support of many
people, she said, the fund raising Penny Sale
would be ineffectual.
Peggy Menzies led the Auxiliary in the
ospital Prayer, followed by the Pres-
ient's remarks by Joyce Chilton.
The Region 2 Conference was held in
Goderich on Monday September 29. Marg
Coventry reported on the "Presidents -
Vice -Presidents" concurrent session; Bud
Yeo reported on the "Tray Favours" con-
current session; Ruth Bond reported on the
"Gift Shop" session.
It has been suggested that the Auxiliary
put together a "Handbook for Volunteers"
working in the C.P.H.
The Auxiliary is fortunate to have people
from the community offer their services in
the Gift Shop, the television committee and
fund raising activities, and the Auxiliary

Deep trust in God that all was right,
