the cob. Whether or not corn on the cob is
served will depend on whether anyone has
late corn, Mr. Scotchmere said, as they
would rather not cook corn if it is not fresh.
He pointed out that the volunteers of the
museum are very active in helping out at
the reunion.
The museum will also be exhibiting some
farm implements from the threshing days.
These will include a threshing machine, a
seed drill, a land roller, an early reaper and
a cultivator, Mr. Scotchmere said. Their
1947 Ford truck will also be taking part in
the parade.

The beans have been a popular favorite
since he started cooking them for the

"We have sold all of them (60 pounds) in
less than an hour," Mr. Scotchmere said.
The process of cooking begins the night
before when the beans are soaked and wash-

There will be no early booking for space,
as spaces will be alloted on a first come,

Campers will receive an added plus this
year. "We are having a dumping station for
the first time this year," Mr, Hallahan said.
According to Mr. Hallahan, anyone
wishing to miss the rush should arrive early.
"They start rolling in on Thursday and
Friday, but Friday is a big day for them roll-
ing in."
Those visitors to the Threshermen's Reu-
nion who will be coming in their campers
should try to arrive a bit early to get a prime
spot on the fair grounds.
"We'll have the same camping as last
year," Joe Hallahan said. "We had 70 or 80
or more campers last year."
He said for those who need to hook up to

use propane now.
Overall, though, he said there is usually
enough space to fit in all of the visitors. "We

the bones, brown sugar, garlic, onions,
tomoto juice, salt and pepper.
Once they are added, the cooking process
is a long one. "Depending on the beans, we
will start cooking about 7 a.m., and they will
be done by 2 p.m.," Mr. Scotchmere ex-
