According to the ladies,
they

or notuse
any special strategy the games,
prac-
tice prior to them.
"We didn't practice at all, we went
without practice," Mrs. Switzer said. "If
you don't get the cards, you can't play
them."
With their win Mrs. Rumball won pot
holders and her partner won a cheese curl-
ing knife, but more importantly, they won
the right to play in the provincial playoffs at
the University of Waterloo.
"We'll be hiking out on the 25th of August
to Waterloo," Mrs. Rumball said. The
games will run from August 25 to August 27.
"If we do that well in Waterloo, we'll be
lucky," said Mrs. Switzer. "They said there
. .
will be 32 teams. That will be something to
play against."
After playing cribbage for the past 30
years or so, both ladies are looking forward
to playing in the provincial's, and the events
which run with the games. These will in-
clude a barbecue and a banquet on the final
night.
