Its goal is to develop and im- plement programs which will promote and enhance the conservation, restoration, development, and management of natural resources other than gas, oil, coal and minerals, within the jurisdiction of the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority, in order to meet the present and future needs of the people who live in or visit the watersheds. Watershed is a key word to the Conserva- tion Authority — its legal jurisdiction is defined in terms of watersheds. Specifical- ly, the ABCA is responsible for renewable resource management in the area drained by: the Ausable and Bayfield Rivers, the Parkhill and Mud Creeks, and several small watercourses that enter Lake Huron. The future looks good for. both of us! When the Hensall Co -Op started in 1937 it was with one purpose...to serve the farmers of the surrounding area. Because we're owned by farmers, we know what they want and need to make their own farming operations more profitable. We now have four locations and we're still giving farmers the same old fashioned service that has made us successful. We thank our employees, member -owners and customers. We appreciate their continuing faith in the Co -Op movement started by our forefathers over 100 years ago. HENSALL DISTRICT CO.OPERATIVE Hensall Zurich Brucefield Seaforth 262.3002 236.4393 482.9823
