During the kick-off dance on March 22, 50 Stanley Township men voluntarily purchas- ed a shaving permit ($2 to grow a beard and $5 not to grow a beard) and have stood by their word. On August 2, their efforts will be judged in five categories with prizes being awarded for first place. The five categories are most natural col- orful beard, longest beard, best trimmed beard, poorest attempt at a beard and best all round mustache and beard. On your 150th Birthday Celebrations !
