A3' ear to remember
This is one year Stanley Township residents will not forget!
Since January, special events, activities and gatherings have been held
to mark the township's 150th birthday, and the fun is not over yet. From
August 1 to 3, former resideto mark the onus ce an a lifetime ocnd those gca onin e
township will be out in fullforce
To kick off the Homecoming Weekend, ATV races will take place on
August 1 at 6:30 p.m. At 9 p.m. a celebrity baseball game will be held,
closing out the activities for that day.
Activities will start bright and early the following morning with own
pan-
cake breakfast running from 7 -11 a.m., followed by a paradegoing
Varna's main street starting at noon.
The official opening of the festivities will take place at 2 p.m. followed
by a sports program at 2:30 p.m.
Included in the sports program are the farmer olympics, kid's kub kar
races and doll dress up - a little something for everyone.
After takinghpartsole events a beef barbecue has one ben planned. have undoubtedly

through the country to see the healthy crops and the
variety. Another thing the motorists will notice is the
