June has been a busy month for bowlers at
the Clinton Lawn Bowling Club, as they
have been playing in tournaments
throughout the county.

The Clinton Mixed Mites played their first
game on June 16 in Goderich, beating the
home team by a score of 10-8.
Clinton picked up six runs in the first inn-
ing on a series of singles by Ryan Bylsma,
Jeff Lobb, Stacey Fleet, Chris Humphries and
Valarie VanRiesen.'

CLINTON - The Clinton Tykes hardball
team suffered their first lost to Dashwood on
June 20, losing 14-7 in Dashwood.
However, the Clinton team came back to
beat Lucan 30-3 in Clinton on June 21.
Ben Lobb hit a home run in the second inn-
ing with two men on base, and Clinton
leading by a score of 12-0. - -
In the fifth inning Ryan Crawford hit a
home run, as did Danny Wildfong. Danny's
home run came with two men on base.
With the bases loaded, Danny Carter hit a
home run to leave the score at 30-3.
The Tykes' next game will be on June 27 in
Clinton, when they play a double header
against the team from St. Marys. The first
game will begin at 10 a.m., with the follow-
ing game being played at 1 p.m.

Audrey Walsh were all winners in Atwood
