Frances Clark was in charge of the devo-
tional period. The study of the Ordination of
Women to the Ministry was given. The next
meeting will be at Mrs.Dawson Craig's
home July 8 at 8 p.m.
The village meeting was held at Auburn
Library on June 10. George Collins has been
appointed trustee to fill the vacancy created
by Warner Andrews' resignation. Jim
Schneider became Chairman and Allan
Craig as Acting Chairman. Andrews was
then presented with a plaque to recognize
his work which began in January, 1977.
Congratulations to Larry and Debbie
Chamney of Ottawa on the birth of, a
daughter Kathryn Elizabeth Brian= on
June 3. -

The General Meeting of Knox United
Church UCW will be held June 25 at 8 p.m.
with Hazel Elliott, formerly of the Auburn
area, bringing Rev. Dr. Daniel Abraham of
India to speak. He is the director of the
Christian Fellowship Centre in Loudhiana.
Marion Hockton, exchange principal at St.
Mary's School in Goderich, came with
friends Miss I.M. Iliffe and Mrs. D. Mills of
England to visit Mrs. Oliver Anderson
recently.
Sorry to report that Mrs. Harold Baechler
is a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital in Lon-
don following surgery on Wednesday.
Mrs. Ellen Johnston returned home from
Alexandra Marine and General Hospital in
Goderich after spending a few weeks there.

CLINTON - Winners in the early bird
games for this week's Monster Bingo play-
ing were Pat Shaw of Blyth who won $78.w O
and Viola Peterson of Clinton who took
home $.
Regular Caines
In the first game of regular play Leanne
Van Dyk of Seaforth was the winner.
The winner in the second game was Viola
Peterson of Clinton.
There were two winners from Clinton in
the third game, and they were Linda
Reinhart and Mary Ann Chambers.
In the fourth game Barbara Hoy of
Brucefield was the winner.
Prior to the fifth regular game being
played a session of Share the Wealth took
place, and Ena Shipp of Clinton and Fred
Laframboise of Bayfield were the winners
of $112.
The winner in the fifth game was Linda
Reinhart of Clinton.
Sharing the win in the sixth game were
Janet Lindsay of Sarnia and Debbie Penn-
ings of Zurich.
There were two more winners from Clin-
ton in the seventh game; Marlene Hart and
Ethel Taylor.
In the eighth game Bertha Gibb of Clinton
was the winner.
Share the Wealth was played again before
the ninth game, and Francine Strickland of
Goderich won $113.
The three winners for game number nine
were Nina Potter of Clinton, Grace Lit-
tlechild of Goderich and Rose Lindsay of
Sanrnia.
• In game 10 Lorraine Arts of Vanastra,
Glenda Becker of Clinton, Joan Merner of
Bayfield, Harold Allicott of Auburn and
Helen Greenwood of Goderich were the
winners.
Elva Osbaldeston of Goderich won the
eleventh game.
The winners in game 12 were Frank Thom
of Clinton, Carol Ducharme of Zurich and
Terry Ward of Walton.
Share the Wealth worth $113.25 was
played before game 13, and the winners
were Donelda Sturgeon of Bayfield, Glenda
Becker of Clinton, Joan Bell of Hensall, Lori
Butt of Goderich and Fred Seers of
Goderich.
Following this round of Share the Wealth
the thirteenth game was played and

The winner in the fourteenth game was

Garage sale fever hit Clinton on Saturday. Wesley Willis Church staged a huge sale and
luncheon and among the many shoppers were Bella Wiggins and Val Marriage and
