EMMA JANE BAYLEY of Clin- ton and formerly of Hullett Township, died on Wednesday, June 4, 1986. Vice President Clinton area obituaries Emma Jane Bayley Emma Jane Bayley, of Clinton and formerly of Hullett Township, died in Clin- ton Public Hospital on June 4. She was 92 -years -old. Mrs. Bayley, who was a homemaker, was born in Hullett Township on October 2, 1893 to William and Nancy (Mann) Hunter. On April 7, 1915, she married George Bayley at the Methodist Manse in Clinton. Mrs. Bayley lived in Hullett Township from 1893 -1910 and from 1910 -1983 she lived on the second of Hallett. In the fall of 1983 she moved to Clinton and lived with her daughters Marjorie Dutot and Verna Morgan. She was a member of Ontario Street United Church and was always happy to greet her friends and family. Mrs. Bayley is survived by six daughters: Mrs. Charles (Marion) Kennington of St. Thomas; Mrs. Fergus (Adeline) McKay of London; Mrs. Lewis (Marjorie) Dutot and Mrs. Robert (Verna) Morgan, both of Clin- ton; Mrs. Evan (Edna) Sims of RR1 Hensall and Mrs. David (Joyce) Slorach of Etobicoke. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Mrs. Bayley is also survived by two sisters; Mrs. Charles (Julia) Warden of London and Mrs. Arthur (Annie) Habkirk of Streetsville; and two brothers; George and Leonard Hunter, both of Clinton. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband and three sisters; Mrs. Hugh (Mary) Campbell, Mrs. Ross (Myrtle) Penrose and Mrs. Albert (Bella) Habkirk. Funeral services were held on June 6 at the Ball and Falconer Funeral Home; Clin- ton, with Rev. David Woodall of Ontario Street United Church officiating. Flower bearers were Jeanette Dutot, Susan McKay, Jane Sims and Alison Slorach. Pallberarers were Bradley Dutot, Douglas Kennington, Thomas Morgan, Ronald McKay, Steven Sims and Derek Slorach. Interment in Clinton Cemetery. Ray McNall Ray McNall, of Fergus, died in St. Joseph's Hospital, Guelph, on June 1. He was 63 -years -old. Mr. McNall, son of the late Robert and Laura McNall, was a member of the IQOF from 1957 until his death. He joined the IOOF Lodge 73 in Fergus in 1966. Mr. McNall was also a vetern of WW II and served overseas from 1942-46. He was a member of the Fergus and District Happy Handicap Club from 1984-86 and a member of Melville United Church. Mr. McNall and his wife, Mae Oesch, moved to Fergus in 1963. He is survived by children, Mrs. Earl (Joan) Chamberlain of Elora, Allen and his wife Jacqueline of Fergus, Stephen of Guelph and Mrs. Robert (Karen) Parsons of Toronto. Also surviving are grandchildren Dana and Shane and his. sisters Mrs. Harry (Margaret) Swan of Goderich, Roberta Wadel of Clinton; and brothers Cecil of Seaforth and Garnet of Lucknow. He was predeceased by four brothers, Frank, Clifford, James and Lloyd. Funeral services were held at Graham Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus on June 4 with Rev. Wettlaufer officiating. Pallbearers were Bob Chamberlain, Wilmer Glousher, Reg Manley, Bob Clyde, Gary Flaxbard and George Redman. Interment was held at Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus. Chester E. Neil Chester E. Neil, of Egmondville, died June 6, at the Seaforth Community Hospital. He was 78. Mr. Neil is survived by his wife, the former Mabel Talbot; son Melvin of Edmonton and daughter, Mrs. David (Carolyn) Reynolds, of Napanee. Also surviving are five grandchildrn, one great grandchild, one sister Mrs. Laura Turn- bull of Komoka and three brothers, George of Stratford, Cecil of Lucan and Gerald of London. He was predeceased by four brother; Wesley, Harvey, Edward, and Ernest, and two sisters Flossie and Clara. The family received friends at the Whitney- Ribey Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on June 9. Interment Bayfield Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ken Carnochan, Emer- son - son Coleman,Jim McIntosh,Ken Coleman, Bill Holland and Ettes Delvecchio. Seniors' month celebrated HENSALL - Senior Citizens Month is now underway at Queensway Nursing Home. The past week marked the grand opening celebration of seniors' month. Mary Beth Jantzi spoke to residents about seniors' month and of the special events there will be to celebrate including the Bowl-a-rama on June 19, and Strawberry SSIclal~ of Aljnes 6b Some resides entertained at the opening celebration. Lloyd McDougal whistled a tune and Theodore Gray played the piano while Lorne Johnston accompanied -him on the violin. The celebration ended with a sing -song after Carol Gascho and Lorne Johnston got residents in the singing mood with their duet "The Gay Cabelero." This past week was filled with many ac- tivities for residents. On June 2 residents held a welcoming par- ty for Roland Grenier. On June 3 the choir entertained at Blue Water Rest Home with pianist Joyce Pepper, and choir director Carol Gascho. Also Lorne Johnston and Theodore Gray played two duets and Lloyd McDougall whistled two tunes. Carol and Lorne also sang their duet. On June 4, the Exeter Christian Reformed Church Ladies took several residents for car rides. As well, residents and staff at Queer)sway held;a bridal shower fot<Sandra Tower who is a cook aLthe home. She will be married on June 28 to Mark Consitt. On Wednesday evening many attended the movie presentation entitled "White Mane." On June 5, Rev. Jim Sutton of the Exeter Anglican Church performed the church ser- vice. Ethel Forrest of Hensall was volunteer pianist for the service. Father Mooney was in on Friday to per- form a service for the Roman Catholic residents. Fashion with flair for 86 STRATFORD - One of the special features at the Pork Congress this year will be the fashion show Fashion With Flair For '86 held June 17 at 2 p.m. in the Market Annex. The clothes being modelled are from stores in Stratford - Lynda's Place, Walkers' Style For Men and. Walkers' Bridal Studio. Door prizes will be given away. Other program activities include a meat - cutting demonstration and auction at 11 a.m. in the tent. Refrigerated storage for the meat purchases will be provided. A tea room will be open every afternoon during the pork congress in the Upper Kinsmen Hall from 1- 4 p.m. Visitors to the pork congress can rest, snack and visit here. There will be a well-equipped babysitting service provided from 12:30 p.m. - 4 p.m. every day during the pork congress in the love room at the Coliseum. As well, there will be facilities available in the Upper Kinsmen Hall where mothers can rest and tend to the needs of their babies. Services Presbyterian St. Andrew's. They have taken up residence in Seaforth. Convocation was held at June 4. Vickie is the grand- daughter of Mrs. Ralph Cantelon and Victor Taylor. ., , , e Mary -Anne Watson Mary -Anne Watson, daughter of Paul and Eva Watson of Chesley, received het? Bachelor of Arts degree from the University] of Guelph on June 4. Mary -Anne majored hi English and graduated on the Dean's honor list.
