CLINTON - The Board of Trustees of the Long run; Lori Powell, Kyra Aylsworth, Clinton Public Hospital announced that the Afollowing persons are proposed for the posi- tion of board members for a term of two years at the Annual Corporation Meeting to be held June 9. Steve Fraser is a present board member and has been since 1984. He is the local Royal Bank Manager and an active member of the Clinton Lions Club. Mr. Fraser is the treasurer of the hospital and a member of the management committee. Earl Hilderley is a present board member and has been since.1982. He is a retired bank manager for the Bank of Montreal and an active member of the community. Mr. Hilderley is on the hospital finance commit- tee and serves the hospital well in this capacity. Marg Makins is a Bayfield resident and has resided there with her husband Bill for five years. Previous to moving to Bayfield As part of National Physical Activity Week last week, the Clinton Public Hospital staff took part in an inter -department challenge as well as challenging Wingham hospital. The challenge - to see which department could climb the most stairs. Clinton defeated the Wingham hospital, climbing 6,191 stairs to their 4,167. At Clinton hospital, the maintenance crew climbed 1,918 to win the most stairs competition. The champions in the senior boys division were Mike Edward and Bill Hoy, while for the senior girls it was Lisa Beattie. In the intermediate division, Chris Johnson was the champion for the boys, and Debbie Draper was the winner for the girls. Jason Carter was the champion for the junior boys group, and Lori Powell took it for the junior girls.
