In ladies' division bowling for March 27, 40
Audrey Stanley had the hig.h single and tri-
ple with scores of 335 and 723. Suzie Dale
bowled the high average with a 205.
Bill Van Damme had the high single in the
men's division with a 346. Ivan Colclough
rolled the high triple of 731 while Rob Van
Damme had the high average of 217.

WOAA Championship
MITCHELL - It was a "Good Friday" for
the Clinton Atoms when they downed Mit-
chell 4-2 to capture their second straight
Western Ontario Athletic Association
(WOAA) CC championship.
Clinton 4 - Mitchell 2
Clinton finished the series in Mitchell on
March 28 by taking the series three games
to none with one tie.
In the first period, Mark Livermore gave
Clinton a 1-0 lead at the 4:12 mark when he
took a clearing pass from Scott Rathwell
from the left face-off ,circle. Scott Shaddick
also earned an assist as he originally started
the play by feeding a pass up the boards to
Rathwell.
Mitchell tied the score in the second
period at 1-1 with Duane Harmer scoring at
2:24.
In the third period, with less than five
minutes remaining, Shawn Chipchase pick-
ed up a loose puck in the slot area and with a
quick wrist shot beat the Mitchell goalie to
give Clinton a 2-1 advantage. Thirty seconds
later, Danny Wildfong finished off a three -
on -one rush with Mark Livermore and Scott
Shaddick to give Clinton a two goal lead at
11:03.
With Clinton playing short-handed Mit-
chell pulled their goalie and it paid off as
Jody Eidt cut Clinton's lleac)`to, 3-2, with:just.
over a minute remairtidg. With thea Mitillie11
goalie still on the bench Shawn Chipchase
blocked a shot; at th$ Clinton blue line, and
outraced the Mitchell defericeman to score
an insurance goal with 22 seconds remain-
ing. .
After, rthe game WOAA member Hugh
Hodges presented the championship trophy
to captain Scott Jewitt and co -captains
Jason Carter and Shawn Chipchase. Each

This program offers teenagers a well-
rounded fitness instruction course designed
to be fun and will get everyone back into
shape after the long winter. The course will
be held at the St. Joseph's School gym begin-
ning April 15 from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. The fee
