The World Day of Prayer will be held in
St. Paul's Anglican Church on March 7. The
program for this day has been prepared by
the Australian women. -
Daisy Holland took over the meeting at
this point. The main topic was studying the
native Indians. She opened with a prayer for
these our brothers and prayed for a broader
and better understanding between the two
cultures. She spoke of their various
cultures, languages, treaties and living
habits.
The Indian respects the environment as a
white man does not. He uses it for his need
not greed. The white man has destroyed
forever many species of birds and animals
and ravished the countryside needlessly.
Adding a touch of humor, Margaret
Thorndyke read an article called The Good
Old Days and Eleanour Fisher read
Stovepipes.
A short reading entitled the Down of Spr-
ing and the benediction closed an_ infor-
mative meeting.
