Crookes Ladies' Wear Store, Chatham), in her
95th year, formerly of 23 Faircourt Avenue,
Chatham, passed away at Meadow Park Nursing
Home, Chatham, on Saturday, January 25, 1986.
Surviving are. three sisters Mrs. Alice Thompson
of Zurich, Miss Isabelle Crookes and Miss Anne
Crookes, both of Chatham; two brothers Frank
Crookes of Florida and Fred Crookes of St.
Catharines. Several nieces and nephews also
survive. The funeral service was conducted at
Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Chatham, on Mori -
