Wilena Brown announced on January 19 that she is resigning from this charge. While she announced that she would be leaving the end of May, that date is in- definite. Miss Brown has been here for Seven years. She plans to spend the summer studying and writing a book. There are many of her flock who feel a deep loss, as she is a good preacher, and an excellent counsellor and understanding listener for those who went to her with their problems. An agent has still not been found to handle any abuse complaints for the area. Suggestions were made to start a filing system of up-to-date members of the Huronia Branch so notices could be sent out each month to members that are due. An extra meeting is scheduled for January 30 to discuss plans to promote the Royal Lipizzan Horse Show coming ' to Goderich May 25-26. Volunteers are needed to work on the different committees. The annual open meeting will be held February 5 at the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food Office, Clinton. It is hoped that volunteers will sign up for fund raising help and for temporary homes need- ed until permanent ones are found. At this meeting the new board of directors will be elected. 46.
