Dar- ryl Youngblut and Darryl Chalmers each scored mice for Radfords. Randy Boyer, Bill Roy, Steve Nixon and Rick Scrimgeour each scored one. Scoring for the Blyth Inn were Dale Whitfield with two, Kurt Whit- field and Ron flunking each with one. In the second game, Baintons edged Wat- sons by a score of 8-7. Barney Stewart led Baintons with four goals, Bryon Black add- ed two, Gary Hakkers and Darryl Plunkett each had one. John Watson and Pat Cronin scored two each for Watsons, while Murray Thompson, Gord Rinn and Dave Errington each scored one. In the third game, Mapnings beat Hub- bards 12-3. Wayne McDougall led Mannings with three goals, -Ken Ritchie, Gary Court- ney and Jeff Sippel each had two and Don Shields, Bill McDougall and John Carter each 11ad one. Scoring for Hubbards were Brad Bromley with two and Brian Bromley with one. Hubbards - 14 Mannings - 12 Watsons -8 Blyth Inn - 5 Radfords - 5 Baintons - 4 Standings The Blytn Tykes defeated Exeter by a score of 13-0 on Saturday. Scoring. for Blyth were: Jason McDougall, Jason Rutledge, Rob Johnston, Ben Craig, Steve Youngblut, Fred Datema, Chris Stewart, Wes Wilson. In net for Blyth was Brad Anderson. The defence deserves credit also, allowing Ex- eter only one shot on net throughout the game! The game previously they defeated Clinton by a score of 11-2. A former resident of Auburn area, Russell Bentley died this week at Huronview in his 88th year: Sympathy is extended to his fami- ly. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hallam were dinner guests on New Year's Day with Mr. 'and Mrs. Jim Cartwright. Mr. and Mrs: Harold Baechler spent New Year's Day with Mr. ' and Mrs: Rick Baechler and family of Blyth. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Greg Park spent Christmas with Mr. Anderson's niece, Mr. and Mrs. A. Hasson of Oakville and Mr. and Mrs. Don Kai and Mrs. Jas. Jackson also were there. Marjorie McDougall visited on New Year's day with Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Toll and family of R.R. 3, Blyth. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Anderson spent the holidays at Newmarket with son, William. Gerritt Beimers spent Christmas with his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Beimers of Strathroy. Congratulations to Bryan Gross who was a winner of a colour television set from Zehrs in Wingham. William Anderson of Newmarket visited New Year's with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Anderson and they all spent New Year's day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Greg. Park. Shuttleworth in charge. The organist Mrs. Barry Milken', pianist Lori Millian and violinist Christine Busch accompanied for the singing of the carols. Lighting of the Christ candle was lit by Rodger Cunn- ingham. Scripture readings were by Mrs. Wayne Durnin, Nicole Middelkamp, Karen Bakker, Betty Marsh, Anita Bross, Mrs. E. Lapp and Linda Cunningham. Junior choir under the direction of Mrs. Gordon Gross and Mrs. Allan Webster sang O Come Little Children. Junior and Senior choirs joined together to sing Beautiful Hills of Judea. • Two lovely solos, Love Caine Down At Christmas and Oh Holy Night were sung by Mrs. Verlyn Shuttleworth of Chatham. Senior choir rendered a lovely anthef'n, Songs At The Stable. Recessional concluded the service with the choir carrying lighted candles from the sanctuary. Sunday Worship on December 29 at Knox United Church Service was in charge of the minister Gary T. „ Shuttleworth. Organ Prelude was by Mrs. Barry Millian. Christine Busch played a selection from her home land Germany on violin with Lori Millian as pianist. The Junior Congregation was in charge of Mrs. Gordon Gross and Margaret Bakker. The minister chose for his sermon, Keeping Up With The Saints. The offering was received by Greg Park and Rodger Cunningham. Sunday Worship in Knox United Church on January -5 -was "in charge,of the minister Gary T. Shuttleworth. Organ Prelude was by Mrs. Barry Millian. The choir sang Oh How He Loves You with Mrs. Barry Millian as,pianist. Junior Congregation was in charge of Mrs. Fred Armstrong, Anita Gross and Nichole Middelkamp. The minister's sermon was entitled 'Grace Is Power. Offering was received by Murray Rollison and Ken Ramsey. This Clinton Tyke could only look at the puck after losing his stick during their December 30 game against Blyth at the Clinton Arena..
