Atoms defeat
CLINTON - At last December 21 the Clin-
ton Atoms skated to a 5 - 1 victory over
Milverton.
There was no scoring in the first period as
both teams played cautiously. Clinton grab-
bed a 1- 0 lead at 3:56 of the second as Scott
Jewitt took a goal -mouth pass from Shawn
Chipchase to score for the locals. Danny
Wildfong also earned an assist on the, play.
At 6:27 Jason Carter made it 2 - 0 as Shawn
Chiptahase won a draw deep in the Milverton
end and set up Carter for the goal.
In the third period with only 16 seconds
gone, Shawn Chipchase drilled a 40 foot

earned assists on the Rathwell goal. Jason
Carter's secondtoal of the game concluded
the scoring at 13:04 as he scored on a goal -
mouth scramble. Shawn Chipchase and
Scott Rathwell each had a shot before
Carter finally knocked it in.

Patti MaGuire with scores of 230, 603, and
172.
Troy 'alconer bowled the senior men's
single an average with 247 and 205 scores.
The high L. `ole went to. Aaron Clogg who
bowled a 620. •
Lynn Feeney bowled the jufior ladies'
high single, trip, and average with scores
of 182, 504 and 158.
Mike Van Damn., captured the high
scores in the junior men's divisions with
single, triple and average scores of 221, 587
and 176.
