Monday, December 9, 1985, Mrs. Mary Theresa
(Miller) Hawkins, formerly of Clinton,' 'in her
101st year. Beloved wife of the late William
Thomas Hawkins. Dear mother of Harriett (Mrs.
Al Smith) of Brocebridge. Loved grandmother of
Joyce (Mrs. Don R. Gray) of Chatham, Bonnie
(Mrs. Lester' Beattie) and Valerie (Mrs. Brian
Lee); both of Sudbury. Also survived by five
great-grandchildren. Predeceased 'by one
daughter Madeleine (Mrs. John Mckinnon) and
by two sons Hugh and John. Friends were receiv-
ed'at the Ball & Falconer Funeral Home, 153 High
'Street, Clinton, on Thursday from 7-9 p.mj
Funeral service was held at the funeral home on
Friday, December 13, at 3 p.m. Interment Clinton

Erickson, of Bayfield and formerly of Watrous,
Sask., l'n her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late
Walter Erickson and dear another of Walter of
Bayfield and Del of Alliston. Also loved by seven
grandchildren and by one great-grandson. Also
survived by one sister Lillian (Mrs. Eimer Richet)
of Manitoba. Predeceased by one sister and two,
brothers. There was no funeral home visitation.
A private funeral service was held on Sunday,
December 15. Cremation with interment of -ashes
later in Watrous Union Cemetery, Watrous, Sask.

wife of the late Lindsay Smith. Dear mother of

gersoll, and Ron and his wife Shirley of
Goderich. Also loved by four. grandchildren Jen:
nifer and Meagan Rachich and David and Doug
Smith. Also survived by three ..brothers Word
Jewell of R R 5, Goderich; Joseph Jewell of
Watrous, Sask.; and Fred Jewell of Newmarket.

day from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 2.4 and
7.9 p.m. Funeral service was held at•the funeral

at the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital,
Goderich on Saturday, December 14, 1985: in her
75th year. Left to mourn are 3 sons and 2
daughter: Sam and his wife'Margaret of R R 6,
Goderich, Gordon . and his wife Lois of Port
Stanley, Steven and his wife Dianne of Bayfield,
Janice and her husband Donald B. MacAdam of
Goderich, and Lyn and her 'husband Ronald
Sigurdson of Surrey, B.C. Also surviving are 12
grandchildren. 9 great-grandchildren. 2 sisters
Jeanne (Mrs, William Haysom) of Goderich Mrs.
Audrey Hardy of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. and 1
brother Hartley Stewart of Bobcoygeon.
Predeceased by her husband Sam C. Argyle. a
brother Earle Stewart of Toronto, a sister
Murielle Borbour of London, and an infant grand•
son Richard Sigurdson. At her request. no
funeral home visitation or funeral service was
held. Cremation will take place with interment of
cremains in Maitland Cemetery. 51
