Hawaiian Style Fish Fillets
Cal./serving: 205 to 215
'Preparation time: 10 min,
Cooking time: 10 to 15 min.
500 g. frozen fish fillets*1 lb.
15 mL butter 1 Tbsp
125 mL thinly sliced onion 12
cup '
2 mL ginger 12 tsp
salt and pepper
125 mL green pepper, cut in
strips . ''z cup
125 mL pineapple juice 1/2 cup
1 can (227 mL) pineapple
chunks 1 can (8 oz.)
Saute onion in butter, until
translucent: Arrange fillets
over onions. Season with
ginger, salt and pepper. Drain
pineapple and reserve juice.
Top fillets with green pepper i
and add pineapple *ice.,
Cover and simmer allowing
10 to 12 min per cm (20 to 24
min per inch) thickness or un-
til flesh is opaque and flakes
easily. Add pineapple during
last 3 min of cooking. '
Makes 4 servings.
