Optimist Bantam Tournament coming
•
CLINTON - On November 28 to December
1 and December 6 to 8 the annual Bantam
hockey tournmanet gets underway.
The local Optimist Club, who sponsors this
event, have spent many hours contacting
the 40 teams that make up the tournament,
setting up a playing schedule, organizing ice
time, hiring referees, acquiring awards for
the individual divisions and finalizing a
work schedule for volunteers.
The volunteers will look after such things
as time keeping, taking admission, and
assisting arena staff with clean-up and ice
maintenance, only to name a few.
Tthe one way the citizens bf Clinton and
area can help is to go to the arena and
support the Optimists. You'll be seeing some
good hockey action and you'll also help the
Optimists support the many community
services. _. -..
