Adult vouchers cost $28 for four admissions, a very slight in- crease over 1985 prices but still a saving of up to 30 per cent over single ticket prices. Vouchers for children under 14 remain at the incredibly low price of $12 for four ad- missions. The low price of Blyth Festival vouchers combined with their.'flexibility make them a great gift idea. For example; with' one voucher pack one person can go to the theatre four times, a couple twice, or a fami- ly of fdilr once - the more vouchers purchas- ed, the more times you can attend; and the greater the overall savings! In the spring, vouchers are exchanged for the play or plays you want to see; on the dates you want to attend. Voucher holders also get to exchange their vouchers for tickets ahead of the general public, giving them the. jump on the best seats. Looking for a special present for your grandchildren - which you will enjoy too? Or are you planning some Christmas shopping in Blyth and would like something special for the kids to do while you shop trouble-free? The Blyth Festival has just the thing! A CHRISTMAS FOR CAROL is the story of a young girl who, caught up in the com- mercialism ofa modern world, refuses to believe that Christmas has any real significance. She runs away from home on Christmas Eve only to become lost in the woods. There, through a sprinkling of Magic, the animals give her their own inter- pretation of Christmas. Through their songs and actions, she discovers the true meaning of Christmas Spirit but not before becoming involved with villains, heroes, ... and the in- evitable close escape. Presented by the Victoria Playhouse Petrolia, A CHRISTMAS FOR CAROL is presented with a mixture of live music, pup- pets and human actors, and will be at Blyth Memorial Hall for one performance p.m. on Sat. December 7. Single tickets cos $4.00 each. Tickets are available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or call 523-9300; cash, cheques, VISA and Mastercard accepted.
