defeating Goderich 4-0 anq Wingham 5-0.
The senior girls also won both games over

Visit to Wawanosh
Mrs. Baker's Grade 1 and 2 class went to
the West Wawanosh Conservatipn Area near
Auburn on October 4. Mr. Govenlock's
Grade 7 and 8 class also visited the
conservation area. Stephanie Kerrigan
wrote a poem on the visit.
Our Wawanosh Walk
We travelled by bus
up Highway four
reached Wawanosh Woods
with its sights galore.
Debbie and Shelly welcomed us then
to see; touch and hear
as well as to smell
in lovely woods, peThaps home of some deer.
Our walk through the bush
with the tall swaying trees
bright orange - black caterpillers
a lot of these did so please.
A large fish hit the water
to make us aware
that we caused him a surprise
but he too gave us a scare.
Up and.down hills
over smooth ground and rough
crossed over "that" bridge
on through grass that was tough.
We found fall had come
to this Wawanosh wood
those bright swirling leaves
show seasons change as they should

soccer team travelled to Hesson and the
junior boys travelled to Stratford to take

well placing third out of approximately 60
