Where were you in '22? Back then the new-
ly constructed Blyth Memorial Hall humm-
ed with activities ranging from council
business to talent showcases.
On Nov. 8 and 9, the Roaring 20's
Weekend, time turns back for, the hall as the
Blyth Festival presents a fund-raising ex-
travaganza. Board members and Friends of
Blyth will host a varity of events to capital specifically for . building projects.
Those plain wooden seats from the early
years need some repairs. The "new" garage
needed a new roof. So the Festival will raise
the roof to raise the funds.
Friday, Nov. 8 is family movie night
'featuring period and vintage films. At 7:30
bring the kids ($6/family) or come alone
($3), watch the moving pictures, have a
glass of cider, popcorn and donuts, and en-
joy the show.
Saturday, Nov. 9 is a rip-roaring 20's even-
ing beginning at 6:00 p.m. with dinner at the
Blyth Inn ( available only with the weekend
package). At 8:00 enter through the gallery
