Hang the garments on thick padded or shaped, non-
metallic hangers. Allow room for air to circulate around
them.
Leather articlessuch as boots, shoes, and handbags re-
quire careful storage as well.
Have any necessary repairs such as lifts on the heels of
boots or shoes, done now, rather than waiting until winter.
Clean the outside of boots to remove dirt and salt. Use a
cloth dampened with a halt' vinegar - half water solution.
When the boots are clean and dry, apply polish then
silicone spray.
Polish shoes and handbags too.
Stuff all articles with tissue paper or newspaper and store
