of Zurich and Mrs. Frieda Keller of Dashwood.
Mrs. Pfaff was predeceased by 2 brothers Victor
and George Deichert and 1 .sister Mrs. Victoria
Eichler. Also surviving are several nieces and

Midget girls take second
in Hiron-Perth meet
BENMILLER - Nineteen Central Huron
Secondary • School ( CHSS) cross-country
runners took part in the Huron -Perth meet
with the midget girls' team collecting 39
points to take second place: The midget boys
and the senior boys finished in third place.
The majority of runners have qualifed to
take part in the WOSSA (Western Ontario
Secondary School. Association's) meet to be
held October 25 in London.
Kerry Schmidt was the lone CHSS runner
in the senior girls' 5,000 metre run. She
placed sixth. In the midget girls' 3,000 metre
run, Heather Brownridge placed fifth,
Shelly Bonte-Gelok, . sixth 'and Diane
Bradshaw tenth. Their efforts were good
enough for a second place finish behind
Stratford Central and ahead of Goderich.
Steve Souch placed second in- the midget
boys' 5,000 metre run. Taking first spot was
Paul O'Hagan of Stratford Central.
The CHSS midget boys' team took 'third
spot behind St. Marys, which placed second
and Stratford Central'which placed first.
In the junior boys 6,400 metre run, Mike
Radford took third place and Ron Calder
took fifth place. ' - The senior boys' team
finished in third place behind Stratford
Central and first place Goderich. CHSS
runners Ming Lee, Mike Vincent and Chris
Lobb finished fifth, sixth and seventh
respectively.
