STANLEY TWP. •The History - Book
Corrimittee met on October 2 and decided to
allow additional space for family histories
and extended the submission deadline to
November 1, 1985.
Families are asked to make sure that they
register with Albert Postma, Varna, before
October 16. All families who have registered
- will receive a letter explaining the changes
in space allotment.. •
The decision was made not to complete
the proposed farm -histories where owners
have failed to return the information forms
or did not list all previous owners. Only the
farms with the names of all owners down
through the years will be included. The
committee had originally planned to include
a complete list of the 'owners of each farrn
with the date of purchase.
Safety tip
Proper maintenance of farm equipment
reduces the chances of costly breakdowns
during peak use season. Take time to
replace worn or damaged parts before you
go into the field. Most breakdowns result
from a lack of preventative maintenance.
