Families are asked to make sure that they register with Albert Postma, Varna, before October 16. All families who have registered - will receive a letter explaining the changes in space allotment.. • The decision was made not to complete the proposed farm -histories where owners have failed to return the information forms or did not list all previous owners. Only the farms with the names of all owners down through the years will be included. The committee had originally planned to include a complete list of the 'owners of each farrn with the date of purchase. Safety tip Proper maintenance of farm equipment reduces the chances of costly breakdowns during peak use season. Take time to replace worn or damaged parts before you go into the field. Most breakdowns result from a lack of preventative maintenance. TRIANON has performed in every major centre throughout Ontario, broadcast on the CBC, and appeared on television. 4-H calf sale, show coming 4-H beef club members from Huron and Bruce Counties will be busy on their Thanksgiving holiday. The members will he preparing their calves for the fifth annual Huron -Bruce 4-H Calf Show and Sale. The sale will be held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 14 at the Brussels Stockyards. In the 1984 Sale, the Grand Champion Calf sold for $2 per pound liveweight to the Tri -County Cattle Company. The sale attracts buyers from the coni munity, including car dealerships, fuel com 71111. panies, private individuals and meat markets.
