.Residents visit musetamobile in Clinton
HURONVIEW - Residents here had a rare
opportunity on September 16 to visit the
Canada North Museumobile from the Na-
tional Museums of Canada, when it was on
display in Clinton. The museum on wheels
contained many interesting and fascinating
items and the tour gives residents insight in-
to the history of Canada's north and its peo-
ple.
On September 17 the ladies from the
Huron Heights wing enjoyed their dinner of
barbecued hamburgs and hot dogs with all
the trimmings. Some residents • who are
members of the Bluewater Club for the
Blind, attended a meeting Tuesday evening
at Wesley -Willis United Church in Clinton.
For the most part of September 18, the
auditorium was transformed into a modern
fashion centre. Geri Fashions of London set
up shop, and brought with them a colorful
display of fall styles, which caught the
clothes -conscious eye of the residents as
well as members of staff.
Thursday was a busy day as some
residents went into Clinton for their weekly
game of bowling. The van was available and
several of the ladies from the Huron Heights
wing took advantage of this and went for a
ride through the countryside. Mid -week Bi-
ble Study took place in the chapel with Mrs.
Prouty is charge. A devotional reading was
given by Mildred Marwick.

warmth and sunshine, an ideal time for a
work -party made up of several male
residents and volunteers to raid the grape
vines at the home of Mary Gibbings. The
vines in various lengths, then woven into in-
dividual wreaths, will eventually be
decorated . with ornaments, fashioned into
motifs for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The
finished product in an array of color will
make an excellent gift, as well as enhance
any decorative theme.
Efforts were generously rewarded by a
delicious barbecue, topped off with
mouthwatering pies baked by Mary. Thanks
