Belgrave Scho•oi Fair
This year marks the 65th year of the Belgrave, Brutsg'ls and Blyth
School Fair. It's the last of its kind in the province Ire it brings
schools together to not only display school work, nut also pets,
livestock, vegetables and flowers. This year, like the other 65, it
began with the traditional march down the main street to the
fairgrounds.
What's this? Sir Galahad and his magnificent steed? No, actually it's Scott Johnston, a
Grade 8 student at Brussels Public School, who dressed up as a robot to enter the horse
judging competition at the school fair.
For these students, it's heave-ho as they struggle to pull their op-
ponents over the line during one of the many tug -o -wars. The teams
Russell Sewers and granddaughter Erin Bolger admire some of the writing . work
displayed by the students at the school fair.
received plenty of support with some rousing cheers from the
teachers and fellow students at the Belgrave School Fair.

Jeremy Van Arnersfoort, 3, seems to be saying, "What's up, doc?" to one of the rabbits
exhibited at the school fair. Besides the bunnies, all kinds of chickens, cats and dogs and
even pigeons were judged.
