September 6,7 and 8, the fires will be stoked, the whistles will blow and the giant steam
engines will be on display at the 24th annual Thresher's Reunion.

This year the Nth annual 'rebnion will be
highlighted by several special events.
A recent addition to the fun is the Old
Time Fiddlers' Jamboree; to be held Friday
evening. September 6. Johnny Brent will be
master of ceremonies at this toe tapping
musical evening.
Johnny will also be on hand for the
popular Step Dance Competition and Fid-
dlers' Contest, staged on Saturday after-
noon, September 7.
Music is an important part of the enter-
tainment at the annual Threshermen's Reu-
nion. On all three days bands will perform
and will include the Ontario Provincial
Police Pipe Band on Friday afternoon, the
Clinton Legion Pipe Band on Saturday after-
noon and the Cameron Highlanders on Sun-
day afternoon. The three bands will take
part in daily afternoon parades and will also
perform on the grounds of the reunion.
The Heritage Fiddlers from Komoka will
be back at the reunion again this year to pro-
ide afternoon entertainment on an outdoor
stage and play at a Saturday evening dance,
to be held in the Blyth Arena, from 9 p.m. to
1 a.m.
There will be clown acts and puppet shows
for the children, an extensive craft show in
the arena and Sunday morning church ser-
vices for the entrie family.
And there will be steam, engines. Steam
engines and more. Visitors will see large
steam engines, Model steam engines, a
shingle mill, baker fan, hay press, gas trac-
tors, gas engines; antique cars, a nano tea
separator, grain threshed and lumber saw-
ed by steam, horse power, a black smith.

competitions and bag tying contests.
From the start of the show on Friday at
1:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 9
a.m., there will be something for all ages
and interests and this family styled country
event.
