I The barbecues were a. huge success with
well over 600 tickets :sold for the chicken
barbecue on Sunday and almost double that
amount of people turned out 'for the beef
barbecue. -
Approximately 1,300 people attended the
inter-denominaticfnal church service at the
Seaforth Community Centre on June 30.
Tuckersmith residents turned the 150th

A HEARTY BREAKFAST was served up by members of local fire
departments. The breakfast. was . served hi' conjunction with
Tuckersmith Sesquicentennial celebrations held Saturday and Sun-
day in the Seaforth area. Ted Slavin and his mother Valerie return-

Close to 150 floats travelled down Seaforth's Main Street to Van Eg-
RURAh ROADS -.David Campbell, Bryan Vincent, Gord Miller and
Barry Vincent were among a few who entertained, thosegathered
at the Seaforth and District Community Centres Sdnday in celebra-
tion of the Tuckersmith Sesquicentennial. Among the events of the
day were a talent show, school reunion, barbecue and all round

CHRISTIAN CELEBRATION - The weekend long festivities for
Tuekersmlth's 150th birthday ended with an old fashioned church
service on Sunday night. An old time circuit rider Clinton high
school. teacher Graham Russell, rode in to give a thundering ser-
mon and the people sang their praises with favorite old hymns.
