This display, demonstration, or model may describe any work, play, or entertainment activity in the life of pioneers in Huron County (or nearby Counties). It may be shared by more than one pupil. There are two categories: Category 1 (Junior ) includes Grades 1 to 5 Category 2 (Senior) includes 6 to 8 Prizes are given by the Historical Society for Junior and Senior Classes and are as follows: lst-$8.00 6th -$1.00 2nd -$6.00 7th -$1.00 3rd -$4.00 8th -$1.00 4th -$2.00 9th -$1.00 5th -$1.00 10th -$1.00 HURON COUNTY FARM & HOME ASSOCIATION SAFETY POSTER CONTEST RUI .FS 1. This is a Poster Contest promoting safety at home or on the farm. 2 Participants must reside in Huron County. 3 One entry per person. 4 No entry fee. 5 Entries will be classified as follows: (A) Children who have not reached their 9th birthday. (B) Persons who are 9 years of age but have not reached their 12th birthday. (C) Persons who are 12 years of age but have not reached their 16th birth- day. 6 Three prizes will be offered in each of the above categories. Prizes: $5.00, $3.002.00. '7 No. directors or their immediate family or professional artists are eligible to participate in the contest. 8 Entries must be on a bond type of paper or bristol board and must be no smaller than 81" x 11" or larger than 16" x 18". 9 Entries must be created freehand by the individual. 10 Entries will be judged on their artistic value, the content, the message, as well as the general overall appearance.
