The Dental Hygienist visited Kindergarten, Grades 2,4,6,8, to check children's teeth and teach dental hygiene. .O.P.P. Constable Marshall conducted streetproofing sessions with each class as well as fingerprinting children who volunteered for the identification program. Open House on Wednesday evening was well attended. Orientation for parents of pre -kindergarten children was presented. Yvonne Brewer presented her public speak- ing oration followed by melodious tunes of the senior choir. It was a very successful and busy weekend. Euchre scores Nine tables were in play at the weekly euchre held in the W.I. Hall on April 24. Winners were: high lady, Mrs. Bert Johnston; novelty lady, Mrs. William Black; low lady, Mrs. Alma Jardine; High man, Leslie Vincent; Novelty man, Clarence Hanna; low man, Stanley Black. Laura Johnston welcomed the guests a1 announced the short program. Mrs. Garner Nicholson gave two readings followed by a contest by Mrs. Fred Armstrong. Tara Johnston entertained with a piano solo. Alice, her mother, Mrs. Nivins and Mrs. Yuill were called to the front to occupy the decorated chairs. An address of good wishes was read by Mrs. Leslie Bolt and Tara and Erin Johnston and Lori and Donna Lynn , Armstrong presented the gifts. After opening the gifts, Alice thanked everyone and lunch was served. Ladies' divisions meet CLINTON-The Ladies Divisions of the Clin- ton Spring Fair Board met on April 23. The ladies reviewed the suggestions and comments from the previous meeting as well as enlarged on many of the details. The food order for thig° year's fair was comprised and the food outlets selected for the purchase of the food for the ladies' booth. The balloon rally was brought to the atten- tion of the ladies. It will be held' this year on Friday, May 10 at 2:00 p.m. The rally will be held at the Clinton Public School this year. The next meeting is scheduled for Tues- day, May 21 at 7:30 p.m., to be held in the council chambers of the Town Hall.
