46. In memoriam
•
FREEMAN
In loving memory of a dear wife, Charlotte D.,
who passed away April 2, 1984:
My heart still aches with sadness,
And silent tears still flow,
What it meant to lose you;
Only I will ever know.
I remember the day I met you,
And the day God made you mine,
I remember the day I lost you,
And will till the end of time.
Among the tears and heartaches,
There is one thing makes me glad,
That you chose me to spend with you,
The happiest years we had.
Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by hus-
band Doug. -13x
FREEMAN
In loving memory of a dear mother, Charlotte,
who passed away April 2, 1984:
Our hearts still ache in sadness,
And secret tears still fall,
What it meant to lose you,
No one will ever know.
When the day is sad and loriely,
And everything goes wrong,
We seem to hear you whisper,
"Cheer up and carry on."
Each time we see your picture,
You seem to smile and say
"Don't cry I'm only sleeping.
We'll meet again some day." •
Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by Don
and Leota. ---13x
SHANAHAN
In loving memory of our dear parents, Wit who.
passed away November 12, 1982 and Hazel who
passed away March 29, 1984:
We often think of bygone days,
When we were all together,
The family chain is broken now,
But memories will live forever.
To us, they hove not gone away,
Nor have they travelled far,
Just entered God's eternal home,
And left the gate ajar.
Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by Don
and leota.••13x
FREEMAN & SHANAHAN
In loving memory of our grandparents, Charlotte
Freeman, Wit Shanahan and Hazel Shanahan:
Your lives were unselfish,
For others you lived.
Not to receive,
But olwgys to give.
Helpful and willing,
So thoughtful and kind,
These beautiful memories,
You left behind.
Sadly :nissed but always remembered by Kevin
and Donna, Karen and Randy, Ian and Ryan and
Kathy. —13x

organizations for important contributions of
funds, property, artifacts or personal ser-
vices and expertise.
In announcing the program, NPCCC
Chairman Gerry Kristianson said he an-
ticipates that hundreds of municipalities
will take advantage of the Friends of
Heritage certificates to formally
acknowledge local contributions or
achievements, and to renew their commit-
ment to on-going heritage conservation at
the local level.
"Heritage conservation is important not
only in older communities with historic
buildings, but also in new developments
where preservation of the natural environ-
ment can be crucial to a community's
future", he said. "Through the Friends of
Heritage program, we hope to spark the in-
terest of all communities in the con-
servation of natural areas and the preserva-
tion of heritage buildings and landmarks for
future generations."
Details are being sent to all municipal of-
ficials throughout Canada.
I$

munity organization, to receive Friends of

Strike may
stop NPD units
KINCARDINE - Ontario Hydro will reap-
ply to the Atomic Energy Control Board for
permission to operate nuclear units in the
event of a strike by the Ontario Hydro
Employees Union (OHEU), Bruce Nuclear
Power Development spokesman Don White
said Friday. The employees contract runs
out April 1.
' The AECB denied Hydro's first proposal,
suggesting that "while management per-
sonnel were qualified to operate the units,
there was a 'need for further hands-on ex-
perience by support staff," the release
stated. •
"Ontario Hydro will address these concerns
in another application, to be submitted in
