Have you forgotten about Story Hour?
Every Saturday afternoon from 2:30 - 3:30
at the Clinton Branch Library, children
between the ages of three and eight are in-
vited to hear some stories and make a craft
project to take home.
Parents may leave the childrlen there and
do an hour of shopping or enjoy a quiet hour
browsing through the adult section.
Children do not need a library card to par-
ticipate in the stories, games, crafts and
pnz?les, everyone is welcome. Remember
Saturday afternoons, 2:30 - 3:30 at the Clin-
ton Branch Library.
Please note, the Non -Renewable Books
(NRB) are scheduled to arrive this week.
These are new releases and may be checked
out for seven days only. All NRB's have a
red stripe on the binding and are on the
same shelf as the new books.
Card party season
SUMMERHILL - Euchre was enjoyed at
Summerhill Hall on Jan. 11 with 11 tables
playing.
Winners were: Ladies' high - Barbara
Toms; Ladies' lone hands - Mrs. Frank
Riley; Ladies' low - Vera Priestap; Men's
high - Clayton Ellis, Men's lone hands - Alex
Westerhout, Men's low - Frank Toms.
Door prize winners were: Jack Merrill,
Lorna Ellis, Earl Blake and Jack Van Eg-
mond.
The next card party will be held at the
Summerhill Hall on January 25 8:30 p.m.

Sorority Singing Valentines

CLINTON - Fourteen members of the Zeta
Omega Sorority met at the homeof Anne
Reid on January 8. Vice President Judy
Stuart led the meeting. She asked each com-
mittee head to explain the function of their
group so new Sorority members could
choose a committee to work on.
Ellen Colson reported that the Ways. and
Means Committee will sell Singing Valen-
tines again this year. Plans are underway
for that popular February project. Singing
Valentines were first made available in 1984
and proved to be an overwhelming success.
The service chairman asked everyone to
help telephone all Block Parents in Clinton,
to let them know that if .anyproblems arise
they can call Anne Lavis at 482-3555:
