Youth Gymnastics
Attention Parents! The Clanton Youth
Gymnastics Program has been expanded to
three divisions, to accommodate younger
children, and in encouraging on-going skill
development. This well-rounded in-
structional program is open to youth ages
four to 13 years beginning January 14 at 7
p.m. All classes are held at the Clinton High
School Main Gymnasium. Children will be
placed in one of three divisions at the con-
clusion of the first class. For more informa-
tion please contact the Recreation Dire
at 482-3398.
Evening Trim -A -Size
Good News! Evening Trim -A -Size classes
began January 7 at the Clinton High School
Small Gymnasium. Classes are held at 7 to 8
p.m. and 8:15 to 9:15 p.m.., and are open to
both men and women. You can register now.

Recreation Office at 482-3398 or program in-
structor Eleanor Ritchie as soon as ,possible.
Power Skating
Attention Parents, The. Power Skating
weenie and Dolly visit school
BRUCEFIELD - As one of the special
events leading up to Christmas Robert
,. McLachlan volunteered to bring a team of
horses Queenie and Dolly to Huron Centen-
nial school and give sleigh or wagon rides to
pupils from Kindergarten to Grade 4.
.Leanne Lebeau in Mrs. Shaddick's Grade
1 enjoyed the wagon ride. She particularly
liked the horses and the' dog, Tippy, that
rode on the wagon. Leanne sang songs and
wasn't a bit scared. She wishes to thank the
man that drove the horses.

Dana Cooper enjoyed everything that
Leanne liked. -She also liked going over the
bumpy railroad tracks.
Jamie Dollery enjoyed the singing, also
the candy that the McLachlans gave the
children. Jamie'sat at the end of the wagon
and got to pet the dog. .
Hailey Taylor in Mrs. Kipfer's Grade 1
particularly enjoyed the horses. Tracy
Huisser hiked their black fur. Brent Hulley
appreciated the fact that the horses were
quiet. Bevan Diebold admired the way the
horses pulled the wagon.
BRUCEFIELD -.Mr. and Mrs. J. Crowe of
Brantford spent Christmas with Mr. and
Mrs. John Moffat and Lindsay.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Bailey of Toronto
spent a few days ,with her father, Mr. Aldie
Mustard.
Mr. and Mrs. Ron Scott and son of
Willowdale, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ken
Scott.
Mrs. Lillian Morris of London spent
Christmas week with Mr. and Mrs. Roy
Brock. Also visiting on Christmas Day was
J.K. Cornish of the Bluewater Nursing
Home. ..
Mrs. Sharon Pine and family : from
Brampton visited for the holidays with her
mother, Mrs. Grace McBride.
Spending . Christmas with Mr. and Mrs.
Jack Mustard and Catherine were Mr. and
Mrs. S.J. Mustard and Sheldon and Mr. and
Mrs. Neil Mustard of Stratford.
Mrs. Pearl McBeath visited with Mr. and
Mrs. Douglas McBeath and family of Wind-
sor.
Miss Georgene McCartney of London
visited over Christmas with Mr. and Mrs.
Wilson McCartney and Robert.
Mrs. Don Moffat and family visited for the
week with her parents at Wallaceburg and
Sombra. Pastor Moffat also visited on
Christmas and attended seminars at London
during the week.
Mr. and '- Mrs.. Wallace Jackson, spent
Christmas at the home of their daughter and
son -in-laws Mr. and Mrs. Roy. Herman and
sons, Tim and Tom in Lon.don.
Luck of the draw
CLINTON .- Six area people received an
extra Christmas gift when they were chosen
winners of , the Knights of Columbus •
Christina s Draw.
Ann Lansink of Seaforth won the $100 first
prize. Second prize, a 120 -pounder was won
by D.C. McBeath of Zurich and third prize,
two oven ready ducks; we're won by Mr. C.

1985 DOG LICENSES

Dog tags are' now on sale at the Town
Hall, 23 Albert St. All dog owners are
required to have their dogs licensed.

Services that will be included in the
Ontario Neighbourhood Improvement
Program for the Town of Clinton. Your
suggestions are necessary.
ALL RESIDENTS ARE
INVITED TO ATTEND
Program for children ages five to 13 years
begins soon. Two classes are offered.
Children ages five to seven will participate
Thursdays from 4:30 to 5 p.m. and children
ages eight to 13 will participate Sundays
from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. A special registration
session has been set for January 10 from 6
p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the .Clinton Arena.
Registration is limited to the first 20 paid
registrants per class. For more information
see the Power Skating ad, or contact the
Recreation Director at 482-3398, or Program
Instructor Brenda Dupee at 482-3564.
Afternoon Trim -A -Size
Attention Ladies! The Afternoon Trim -A -
Size Program (.including] Baby Sitting Ser-
vice) will begin January 15. Classes will, be
held from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. Tuesday and
Thursday afternoons ata location to be an-
nounced. For more information please con-
tact either the Recreation Director at 482-
3398 or Program Instructor Dorothy Haan at
482-4395.
Children's Learn to Skate
The Clinton Figure Skating Club in con-
junction, with the Clinton Recreation Com-
mittee are offering_a pre-schoolers Learn To
Skate program on Mondays and Thursdays
from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Clinton Arena. For
more information, contact the Figure
Skating Club or the Recreation Office.
Bread Dough Art 11
Good news! The Clinton Recreation Com-
mittee has finalized arrangements for
another Bread .Dough Art Course. Classes
Will -be held Thursday evenings from 7:30 to
9:30 p.m. at the Clinton "Town Hall Meeting
Room. This eight hour (4 week) course will
begin February 7 and end February 28.

Junior "C" Oldtimers Game
Attention Hockey Fans! The Clinton
Junior "C" 84/85 Mustangs will be playing
Junior "C" Oldtimers in an exhibition fund-
raising hockey game at"the Clinton Arena on
• Janury 19, 1985. Game .time is 9 p.m. Your

employment applications for the Recreation
Program Assistant and Special Event Assis-
tant would be received until January 7.
In fact,'the deadline is Friday, January 11
at 12 noon. Applications will be received at
