Eating Disorders And Women N
This course will examine the definitions
and symptoms of anorexia nervosa (self
starvation), bulimia (binge -purge syn-
drome), and obesity. It will focus on the
social emphasis on slimness and the
effects and stresses this causes for
women, 'in particular. The intent is to
have participants arrive at. a better
understanding of these eating dis-
orders.
