Give the gift that keeps on giving all year
As Christmas preparations get underway
and the holiday excitement starts to climax,
why not focus on gifts that keep on giving
throughout the year. Many of us are con-
cerned about what we eat and how much ex-
ercise we get. So, it may be just the time to
consider a gift that will encourage someone
you care about to improve their physique
and get food habits back in shape.
How about a gift that will nudge the pr
crastinator or one to encourage those wit
don't really think "they've got the time and
energy", or a gift to pat "the converted" on
the back.
Sports equipment or accessories may be
just what you're looking for. Ski suites or
sweat suits; coordinating jersey, headband
and wristbands; a gear bag; tennis racquet
or skates are just a few suggestions. For
stocking stuffers, ski wax, swimming gog-
gles, a toque, exercise cassette, skate laces
and wool socks are some ideas. Membership
in a favourite fitness club or a pass for the
local "Y" may be welcomed. Keep in mind
that your company and support could be
most appreciated.
