Boards" is the theme of a community
workshopsponsored by the Ministry of
Citizenship and Culture to be held on
Wednesday, December 5, at 7 p.m. in the
Clinton Town Hall, 52 Huron Street, Clinton,
Ontario. Open to organizations served by
the Ministry, the three hour workshop will
provide •an overview on how volunteer
boards can solve internal problems and
upgrade their current operations.
"The number of workshops' has been ex-
panded because of the great success of the
program last year", said Ms. Fish. "More
than 900 individuals, representing over 420
of my Ministry's client organizations at-
tended briefing sessions in 10 Ontario com-

Twenty three sessions for representatives
from Ministry related programs will be held
in 15 communities across Ontario from
November, 1984 to Match, 1985. Over 1,200
volunteers are expected to participate.
"The volunteer board is the organizing
force behind thousands of activities at the

throughout Ontario."

As well, staff at Shiral's have challenged
all other Clinton sales clerks to make a $5
