CLINTON - Have you ever found that your
arms were too short?
If you have given up reading in the past
few years because the type was too small
and difficult to read, be happy to know that
you may now enjoy the pleasures of a good
book again The Clinton Public Library has
a marvelous selection of large print books,
best sellers, romance, mysteries, classics,
nonfiction and even a cookbook!
For those who are not able to read at all
due to a visual or physical handicap, there
are a selection of talking books ( books
recorded on cassette tapes) available
through the Huron County Library, System.
To qualify it is necessary to have a cer-
tificate signed by a health - professional,
more information is available at your local
branch or the head office of the Huron Coun-
ty Library in Goderich.

In addition to the Mennonite Central Com-
mittee, Canadian Baptist Federation and
the United Church of Canada, other part-
ners in the Canadian Foodgrains Bank are
Canadian . Lutheran World Relief,
Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, Chris-
tian and Missionary Alliance and the Chris-
tian Reformed . World Relief. Each has a
separate account in the Foodgrains Bank.
Mozambique,' Jim Shenk, spoke personally
to the Foodgrains Bank Board and stressed
the urgency. In a situation similar to
Ethiopia, Mozambique has been ravaged by
drought for five years. Food distribution is
disrupted further by civil strife. The death
toll from malnutriton and related disease
may be 100,000 iri just one province, accor-
ding to another source.
Loewen says the corn will be shipped from
Windsor. It is due to leave by the end of
November and would arrive threeto four
weeks after leaving the Seaway. Clinton
area farmers, working through local
elevators, are,supporting the project, par-
ticularly with donations of corn.
