in Exeter after a nleasant visit of a
week with Mr. and Mrs. T. H. McCal-
lum in their cottage at Grand Bend.
Commercial travellers' day was a
record breaker at the Toronto exhibi-
tion. • Fifty thousand people passed
through the gates and the .grounds
presented a very animated appearance.

tnoved to the London Asylum for
mental trouble is on a fair way to re-
covery, having been able to write a
letter to her friends here. It is hoped
that an ultimate care may be effected.

Mr. G. S. Kydd, of Sioux City, Iowa
has been visiting old Dublin friends
and also acquaintances in Seaforth and
Goderich. He has hosts of friends who
are glad to welcome him. Re is well-
known in this neighborhood having
married. a Miss McPhillips' a former
resident of Exeter. Mr. Kydd has
built up in Sioux City, one of the most;
flourishing furniture and undertaking
establishment in the State of Iowa.
