Shaddick, daughter of John Shaddick of Goderich and the late Nancy Shaddick graduated from -the Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto with a diploma in Theatre Technical -Production. In September, -Debbie will be attending the University of Toronto, studing towards a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education. Upon completion of this, she hopes to teach Dramatic Arts and English at the School of Arts in Toronto and work in production at professional summer theatres. Jennifer LynneStryker graduated from the Registered Nursing Assistant program at Georgian College, Owen Sound campus on June 23. She graduated with standing on the Dean's Honor List. Jennifer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Stryker of Seafortb.. She is presently employed at Kilbarchan Nursing Home in Seaforth.. Guest speaker, Huron -Bruce MP Murray Cardiff, briefed the YPCs on the important role young people play in a riding. He noted that youth are an important part of society and their ideas and concerns should be made known to the people who affect policy. Bernie Haines, who attended campaign school in London, outlined campaign strategies for the upcoming election. Sue Lyndon, Andrew Johnson and Beth Snell, members of the Oxford County YPC executive. were present to exchange ideas between neighboring YPC ridings. They also extended an invitation to Hurgn-Bruce to join them in their camp -out at Long Point on August 11. • Any young people, 30 years and under, who would be interested in "getting involved' may contact Kevin Campbell at 527-.0137 or Jan Divok at 482-3370.
