Grass Fire
Bayfield Firemen were called out to deal
with a grass fire south of the village on
Easter Sunday. Fortunately no real damage
was, done. Commenting on the incident, Fire
Chief Mr. Percy Renner' said that while it
was appreciated that there was always
curiosity as to where the fire truck might be
going, the habit of following up in a car close
behind the truck was not desirable, and
could impede firemen and delay their ar-
rival on the scene.
