Enthusiastic Bible sketch-
' CLINTON - Sunday School children at St.
Paul's Anglican Church, presented an en-
thusiastic adaptation of a Biblical story, titl-
ed, Son Rise, for the congregation on April 8.
Under the direction of Mrs. Kathie
Schwark, and to the accompanying Music
from Son Rise, the children sang The
Denial, Peter's Lament, and Alleluiah, He is
Risen! In the narration, the members of"the
cast told of the denial of Peter, the grief of
Mary upon her discovery of the empty tomb
where the body of Jesus had been laid; and.
the Miracle of the Resurrection of Jesus, as
witnessed by the angel, Mary, and the
disciples Peter and John.
The role of Mary, mother of . Jesus was
played by Angela Reid,and the angel was
Stacey Reid. The disciples John and Peter
were played by Christopher Dixon acid Scott
Wilson, and Trevor Schwark took the role of
Jesus. Jason Wilson presented a descriptive
prologue to the congregation.
Son Rise was the first of a series of short,
dramatic biblical sketches being rehearsed
by the Sunday School children for presenta-
tion at Sunday services at St. Paul's
Anglican Church.

The deadline for application for space in
the 1984 Huron County Atlas ` has been
extended for two weeks until the end of
April.
Faced with a last minute flood of queries
from Huron organizations and families'
regarding the atlas, the atlas committee, at
a meeting in Clinton on Monday, decided to
extend the closing date from April 15. This
will allow as many additional entries as
possible to be accommodated, according to
Reeve Grant Stirling of G6derich Township.

There appears to be an increasinginterest
in recounting the story of longtime Huron
amines and business organizations an e1

years old.
Mr. Hoffman was born in Wroxeter and
moved to Kitchener eight years ago from
Clinton. Hewas a WWII veteran and served
overseas Atth the—RLI. He was also-; `-
member of the . Blyth ll,oyal Canadian
Legion Branch.
Surviving are his wife the former Esther
Melnyk, one daughter, Mrs. Dave (Bonnie)
Martyn of Cambridge and two
grandchildren, Kevin and Brian. Also
surviving is one sister Mrs. Hazel Wilson of -
Long Point Beach Ontario.
Cremation has taken place and interment
of the cremated remains will be held in
Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener. The
•Barphel-Stager Funeral Home in.

Mrs. Leona P. Weston of Chicago died in
St. Francis Hospital, Evanston, Illinois on
Friday, April 6 at the age of 81.
She was born in Montpelier, Ohio on April Marjorie Campbell
