of Kirkton, trotted to his second win in a row
and his'fourth from eight starts this year at
Flamboro Downs on February 19.
The nine-year-old gelding by Ever Ready -
Miss Bar Key by Darneau, is trained at Clin-
ton
by Walter Oster and was driven to his
2.07 victory by Ray McLean.
Badgers Boy, owned by Dr. George S.
Elliott of Clinton, finished second at Wind-
sor Raceway on February 16.
Unsafe track conditions at London on
Monday, February 13 caused that night's
card to re -scheduled for Wednesday night.
Ray McLean was second with Reba Lee

Clinton Atoms
continue skid
Last week the Clinton Atoms dropped two
more games. On Wed., Feb. 15, they travell-
ed to Stratford where they were defeated 4-
1.
Clinton opened up the scoring at the 5:11
mark of the first period when Darryl Levis
scored after taking a pass from Scott Jewitt.
Stratford tied the score at 1-1 with Jason
Henry scoring with thirty-one seconds left in
the first period.
Henry and Dean Burdett scored second
period goals for Stratford as they opened up
a 3-1 lead after two periods.
In the third period Jason Henry completed
his hat trick.
Clinton's Atoms celebrated Minor Hockey
Week in disastrous form as they were
outplayed.and got drubbed by a score of 13-1
by the Howick Hawks.
After one period the Hawks were leading
by a score of 3-1..
Scott Jewitt scored the lone Clinton goal
assisted by Shawn Chipchase.
It was all Hawks in the second period as
they scored ten goals to open up a 13-1 lead.
