Along; with his mother and his wife, Mr.
Taylor is survived by five daughters end
four sons, Joan of Clinton; Betty -Of R:4,
Clinton; Mrs. Wayne (Bonnie) Pollack, of
Vanastra; Mrs. Randy ( Marilyn): Blake of
Clinton; Mrs. Robert (Jacqueline) Rad of
Clinton; Murray of Clinton; Steven of RR 1,
Brucefield and Marvin and Allan, both of
Hensall, He is also survived by nine. gran-
dchildren.
Also surviving are six sisters, Mrs. James
tCora) MacFarlane of Coiling Lake,
Alberta; Mrs. Joseph (June) Potter of RR2,
C'liaton;
-Mrs. Ross (Donna) Corbett -of
Hensali;T Mrs. Ross 'iia) Brown -of
Newtonville; Mrs. Fred ( Barbara) Preston
of Sundridge and Mrs. John ( Marylou)
Drisloll of Walton. He is also survived by
two brothers, William of Varna and Douglas
of Brucefield.
Funeral services were held at the Ball and
Falconer Funeral' Iia®me in Clinton on Feb.
13. Don Moffatt of Brucefield officiated. The
interment was in Baird's Cemetery in
Stanley Township.

HOLMESVILLE - Last Sunday Worship
was held in Holmesville United Church with
a good attendance. Rev. Bechtel told the
children about how salt was so good for us as
his sermon was on the Salt of the Earth. Bill
Crawford and Gordon Lobb received the of-
fering.
The men's club of Holmesville and Wesley
Willis Churches are having a father -son bus
_ trip to a hockey game in London, on Feb: 24.
The Thursday evening card party" -at the
Community Centre has been cancelled. The.
next WI card party will be held on Feb. 23.
There is Quilting at the Community Cen-
tre each Wednesday morning • ladies come
out bring your lunch and spend the day.
The Enterprising Seniors will meet for
their Valentine meeting on Thursday/ after
noon. at 2 p.m. at the hall in Holmesville.
Barbara and Alvin Betties visited their
daughter Peggy Ann and family • in
Bracebridge on the weekend. Barb's grand-

che.. There is a MacDonald's Restaurant on
their corner now. Mark always likes to go to.

MAITLAND AND ,THE 16TH - The Feb:
meeting of the SS 4 Community Club was
held on Feb. 1 at the home of Verna Lobb,
Alison ' Lobb. opened the meeting with a
reading. .
Thank. you notes werereceived from
Irvine Tebbutt, Kristen Crawford and the
Family Services.. _
Members agreed to hold the next meeting
on. March 7. Ladies.. are .asked .to bring lunch.
A good turn -out is requested as a photograph
of club members' will be taken.

her order.
Faye Oakes upadated members on the
Playground. Equipment Project (PEP).
Raffle tickets are available and plans are.
underway for the fashion show; which will
be held at the Goderich 'Townsh'ip .Com-
munity Centre on, March 28. The event will
see an afternoon and evening show. Anyone
wanting more information or tickets may
call Faye oakes at 482-7211.

CLINTON - On Feb. 7 there were 14 tables
of euchre in play at the Clinton Legiort.High
scorer was Ed Bezaire with 88 Frank Mc-
Cowen had the lone hands score of 6 and low
score was John Semple with 45.
On Feb. 9 in darts, the high couple was
Isobel McClure ..and Rick Godfrey. The
ladies high score was Rosemary Armstrong
126 and John Greidanus had the men's high
score with 140. The low couple was Ceaceiia
Edgar and Joe Whalen.
The winner of bingo was Lloyd Glousher
of Blyth.
The next Executive meeting will be held
on Feb. 20 with the General meeting on Feb.
27 at 8:30P.M.
Feb. 25 at Goderich, will be zone five pin
bowling with the winners going on to Corn-
wall on April 7,
The eyeglasses sent to the Christian Blind
Mission were received in excellent condi-
tionrand Will be examined and catalogued
for use in one of the mobile clinics in
Guatemala, Haiti or Dominica., Mr. Art
Brooker, National Director stated that on
behalf of those who will benefit because you
