Born on Sept.19,1885, be. was minister of St. Andrew's United Church in N :=Falls from 1931 to 1958 and kIL� Emeritus there until 1983. For more than 52 years, be endeared himself to all those who came to know him. His sincerity, his humility, his kindness and his humor touched and changed the lives of countless people in his church and in the community. He gave courage to the downhearted, cheer to the sick and lonely, comfort to the grief stricken and a helping hand to all those in need. Funeral services were held in Niagara Falls at St. Andrew's United Church on Dec. 7. The committal service was conducted by Rev: Dr. Keith Knill and Father Joseph O'Brien. The Wednesday and Friday groups held their party on Dec. 15. About 70 attended and enjoyed turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Thanks was noted to all the staff, volunteers and helpers, including Jerry Mountford and Sandra Nivens, the cooks.
