Santa and Tinker,
on the way
If I was a Christmas Elf I would help San-
ta wrap the presents, and make the toys,
and get his sleigh ready for take -off on
Christmas Eve. I would help him get his
coat on, and make sure all of his reindeer
are ready, even Rudolph. Then I would take
him out to his sleigh. I would put his big bag

of toys in for him, and give him his reins for
his reindeer. I would make sure that the toys
are in good so that they don't fall out. Then I
would ask him if he wanted Tinker the little
elf that nobody likes but me. He would say
Ho! Ho! Ho! Yes indeed I would. So I would
go and get him bring him to Santa and help
him up in the sleigh. I would set him on his
knee. And Say to Santa have a wonderful
time delivering your Christmas presents to
the kids. You to Tinker. Then I would go
back to the shed where the other elves are,
go through the door to the kitchen, where
Mrs. Claus is baking Christmas cookies and
Christmas cake. i would then say that I got
Santa and Tinker off to a good start. Then
she would say very good you're the best elf
in this workshop. Then I would say Merry
Christmas! to Mrs. Claus. And go back to
my work.

Christmas in Full
Christmas is full of cheer and love,
Families, friends, neighbors alike,
Presents are given to girls and boys,
Giving off superb delight,
Presents of games, dolls, trucks and other
toys,
With white snow on the ground,
Blue skies and white clouds in the air,
The yuletime spirit all around,
The feeling of Christmas everywhere,
Just like in Bethlehem town,
Then called the City of David,
Faces of the people wearing a frown,
Evil kings ruling lands,
How Everybody Celebrates
Christmas
The joy of Christmas is here
The bells are ringing
Jesus Christ is here
We celebrate his coming with our love
We wait anxiously for Christmas
We wait for fun and joy
We celebrate this Christmas Day
With a big juicy turkey cooking in the oven
With our food we celebrate this day
We play with our toys all day long
We sit down at the table with our family
We talk about Jesus our saviour
We say a prayer for him to
Then we eat our food
Then we work together to clean up
And we start playing with our toys again
And we say good night
And then we say our prayers
Showing our happiness to the Lord Jesus
This is how every body celebrates
Christmas

Seeing Santa
for first time
e were ;n elf
Sickness and deseases everywhere,
Men dying in desert sands,
Until Jesus, the baby was born,
Saving lives of many,
Ending all troubles and scorn.
Tothis day the North Star will shine,
Telling you that your Christmas will be fine.
Scott Allen,
Gr. 6,

If .Santa didn't come
It was the eve of Christmas
And where was Santa
He wasn't in sight
If you don't come the children will be sad
Without presents around the tree
No one will be glad
Oh please come Santa the children adore
you
They will miss your ho, ho, ho
And the parents will too
You can't let us down
For Christmas would be no fun
Like a circus without a clown
What ,n' 11th' children do with no toys
No dolls for the girls
No trucks for the boys
Santa, it's been a long year
It's one day before Christmas
And we wish you were here
We've put our fire in the fire place
So you can come
With the pitter-patter of your reindeer
We'll end another year
Full of joy and happiness

The first time I went to see Santa I went to
London. I asked for a Barbie Doll house and
a Care Bear and a Cabbage Patch Kid. Then
we went for supper and I had two ham-
burgers and orange pop and Andrea had one
hotdog and coke. Then we went Christmas
shopping and we bought a coffee mug and
Mom got a new coat. Then we went back to
town. Jennifer Craig, Gr. 2, Clinton Public
