"Let it snow ! Let it snow ! Let it snow ! "
say Clinton merchants. "We have the pro-
ducts to keep our customers warm and toas-
ty over those long, cold winter months."
And with the recent cold and miserable
weather we've been having, Clinton mer-
chants have really been put to the test.
With Christmas just around the corner,
not only do Clintonians have to consider
warmth, but warmth in style and comfort.
When the children wake early Christmas
morning wearing cosy flannel pyjamas
from Burgess Department Store and fluffy
slippers from Wuerth's Shoes, presents will
be opened, breakfast will be eaten and the
car will be packed for a trip to grandma's.
Wrapping up the voyage may mean wear-
ing a stylish man's dress coat from Camp-
bell's Men's Wear, a fashionable argyle
sweater from Herman's Men's Wear and
durable boots from Aiken Brothers. Mother
might choose to dress elegantly in a
Highland Queen reversible wool skirt,
angora sweater and motif tights from My

When you reach your destination, the kids
might want to join in the fun of a sleigh ride
of a cross country ski jaunt. To dress accor-

and sleep undisturbed knowing that the long
winter nights ahead will go practically un-
noticed. A trip to the south arranged by the
CAA Travel Agency will occupy your
thoughts.

For a shimmering effect, swag long strips
of tinsel at the top of your windows, over
whatever curtains or drapes are already
there. Add glistening Christmas tree balls
and you'll have a picture window that is
lovely inside and out.
For a festive indoor window -sill box, fill a
long planter with evergreens and tuck
bright tinsel flowers thickly through the
greens. You might also want to stand this
Christmas garden on a long book shelf.
