The officer:, and directors are: Past President, Glenn Coultes; President, Mur- ray Vincent; 1st Vice president, Loyd Michie; 2nd Vice president, Bruce Camp- bell; Secretary, Mrs. Joyce Vincent. Directors for Morris Township are: Isabel Campbell; Joan Smuck; Audrey Edgar; Ruth Hastings; Debbie Hopper; Jim Barnes; George Procter; Frank Procter; Nancy Michie and Donald Procter. Roberts conducted the ser- vice. Mrs. George Procter, organist, presid- ed for the prelude and service and the Junior choir sang. Following the Scripture record, infants; Travis Moncrief, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Campbell; Joelene Sara, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Black; Adam Douglas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Potter; Justin Ashley, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Campbell and Peggy Louise, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cameron Procter were baptized. Video shows hospital addition The Women's Institute meeting began with a dessert tea with several visitors welcomed by the president Mrs Jim Hunter. Program convener, Mrs. Ross Higgins, spoke on the help available in local counties for battered women and children. Mrs. Don Vair spoke on the projected building plans at the Wingham and District Hospital. She presented a video tape of the floor plans with a description of the im- provement of service which the new wing will make possible. Norman Hayes, the hospital administrator, spoke on the finan- cial funding and answered many questions. Mrs. Jim Hunter gave a report of the Area Convention which she attended in St. Marys. The Women's Institute is pleased with the attendance of 20 women to the rug -braiding classes. Personals Mr. and Mrs. Ross Anderson visited with Mr., and Mrs. Rick Ball and Matthew of Hanover on Sunday. Matthew celebrated his first birthday. The executive of the Belgrave Bible Socie- ty thanks everyone who collected this year to complete a successful canvass in the com- munity. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Taylor held a family gathering in the Women's Institute Hall on Saturday afternoon. On Nov. 13, 12 new Brownies were enroll- ed increasing enrolment to 18 Brownies. The Brownies meet every Tuesday and are plan- ning a Bake Sale on Nov. 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. in Knox United Church Sunday School room, Belgrave. The girls participated in the 4-H Homemaking Achievement Night held in Clinton on Nov. 15. Jane Muegge, Rural Organizational Specialist and Home Economist, said 4-11 members studied a seven week program about good grooming and consumerism. Members learned how to research a product and how to write a complaint letter if they were dissatisfied with a product.
